A History of Offwell Church and Parish, Devon
The tranquil village and parish of Offwell, near Honiton in Devon, are as rich in history as they are in charm. As a celebration of this heritage, and as a gift to the church which has stood at its centre for at least eight centuries, Dr Susan Morris and Mr Gervase Belfield of Debrett Ancestry Research were commissioned to research and write a substantial history of the parish and it is now available for sale, with proceeds going to church funds.

The Six Month Kingdom: Albania 1914
The Six Month Kingdom: Albania 1914 was published in 2005, with a lengthy introduction by Gervase Belfield, genealogist with Debrett Ancestry Research Ltd. The book is based on the memoirs of Captain Duncan Heaton-Armstrong (1886-1969), an adventurous Irishman who was Private Secretary to the first King of Albania in 1914.  Heaton-Armstrong tells the exciting story of the brief but turbulent reign of Prince William of Wied (1876-1945), a Protestant German prince who was persuaded to accept the throne of Albania by his ambitious wife and by the Great Powers of Europe. The small Balkan kingdom faced a serious Moslem rebellion before being engulfed by the First World War.  The book tells of a miniature royal court seething with international intrigue, duplicity and betrayal.
